Vijay : Whole Life And Career In A Short View :-
Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar is an Indian movie actor, playback singer and philanthropist who works in the Tamil film industry. On 22 June 1974 Vijay was born in Madras (now Chennai) India. His father’s name is S. A. Chandrasekhar who is a well-known Tamil film director. His mother’s name is Shoba Chandrasekhar who is a reputed playback singer and carnatic vocalist. Vijay grew up in Chennai. Vijay had a sister (Vidhya), who died when Vidhaya was two years old. And Vidhya’s death affected him very much.
Vijay completed his schooling from Balalok Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Virugambakkam. After that he admitted to complete his degree in Visual Communications from Loyola College, though he was more interested in acting for that he eventually drops out from his education. On 25 August 1999 Vijay married a Sangeetha Sornalingam.
Acting Career :- In 1984, Vijay made his debut as an Indian actor with the movie drama Verti directed by his father S. A. Chandrasekhar. In 1992 at age of eighteen Vijay made his acting debut as lead actor with the movie Naalaya Theerpu. In 1996 Vijay’s made his first hit movie named Poove Unakkaga directed by Vikraman and that was his first commercial success. After doing this movie he became officially star. Vijay appeared alongside Vijayakanth in Sendhoorapandi (1993) which did well at the box-office.
After that he did lots of films like, romantic film Kadhalukku Mariyadhai (1997), Kushi (2000), friends (2001), action movies Maanbumigu Maanavan (1996), Selva (1996), Thirumalai (2003), Sivakasi (2005), Pokkiri (2007), kaaavlan (2011), Nanban (2012), Thuppakki (2012), Theri (2016), Bairavaa (2017). In 2005 Vijay Acted with Genelia D’Souza in Sachine a Comedy movie, directed by John Mahendran and johan. In 2011 Vijay acted alongside Asin in the romantic comedy movie (Kaavalan) a Tamil remake of the Malayalam film Bodyguard directed by Siddique. After that in 2012 Vijay and Genelia made their second movie Velayudham directed by Mohan Raja.
In 2002, Vijay acted an action movie with Priyanka Chopra named “Thamizhan”. The movie was a box office hit. In 2013 Vijay released “Nanban”. Nanban is the Tamil remake of the Bollywood film 3 Idiots, and in this movie Vijay played the role of Aamir Khan. In 2012 and 2013, vijay held 28th and 49th area, at the indian version of forbes’ “superstar a hundred lists, primarily based on the profits and reputation of indian celebrities.
